Hey. One idea could be to use a 14,4v Motor. From ether a e-savage or Twin Force or E-maxx. Damn, That snowblower was really nice. Shall made one for myself to the summer.
Hello, I plan to build one of those this winter. We are getting pounded with snow and I want to have some fun with the snow this year. Are you able to give me the dimensions of your snowblower?
Dear sonex761, I found an aluminum box which is 8 inches wide, 6 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep. I think its going to work. Now I'm moving onto the auger assembly. And I also have 2 12v 2400rpm motors for the snowblower. Is there any tips you can give me during construction? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
The auger blades are 4" in diameter. The impeller is 5" in diameter. All parts were made my me with the exception of the chain and sprockets. I used my CNC mill and lathe to cut the auger, auger and impeller hubs, the auger bearing blocks and chute pivot base. The motor that I used was a integy 75 turn 550 at 12v at about 6000 rpm. It bogged down in heavy snow. It was assembled using solid and some pull style rivets. It took almost a month to build.

It is looking pretty good. It seems to be workable. It is truly amazing.
I am not sure when I will be in Providence again, but I shall search for the 12v speed 700 when I get there....

Unfortunately the snow is gone for the year. It is about 10 inches wide, 4 inches deep and 5 inches tall plus the chute.

Hey,Have you done some new mods about the snowblower to the vinter or? Did you get a stronger motor?
Sorry nothing new. There is no snow so I have put it aside for awhile.
Have you got any snow now?
And what about a better motor?
